Welcome to February's edition of Monthly Miscellanea, a series highlighting the objects, people, places, and experiences that have prompted reflection and conversation of late.
01. AW24 Runway Show Favorites - While the shortest month of the year, February always seems to pass too quickly between events like Lunar New Year and the somewhat odd juxtaposition of Spring arrivals and Autumn/Winter shows and market for fashion. Of the runways collections thus far, a few of the softly saturated colors, power dressing, and looks in general that have caught our eyes and heart.
02. Radicchio Not Roses Campaign -
Our love of radicchio, particularly the pink, is clearly evident (as seen in our recent jewelry launch). And we loved the Valentine's Day campaign from

Radicchio not Roses gently urges people to reconsider using the beautiful chicory in place of florals. Not only is radicchio visually stunning, but it's much more sustainable and delicious. As an easy salad, the crisp, softly bitter flavor is the ideal companion for a simple vinaigrette and chunks of citrus and cheese.
03. For the Love of Books by Rare Books LA - We recently spent a day at Rare Books LA's “For the Love of Books,” which featured books, prints, maps, and ephemera from booksellers and bibliophiles from around the world. How beautiful is this heart shaped codex from the 15th century? A music manuscript, the Chansonnier de Jean de Montchenu is an exquisite compilation of songs and gilded illustrations.
